Trans-Dermal Drug Delivery
The Viaderm Micro is a trans-dermal drug delivery system for home use. The system consists of patches containing the drug and a handheld electronic device with a microelectrode array. The device creates RF MicroChannels, which prepare the site for application of the drug-containing patch. The drug is then passively diffused through the RF-MicroChannels into the inner skin layer and from there to the circulatory system.
JBDesign designed both the patch and the device, as an intuitive and easy to use system that requires minimal training.
